Maren Turner of the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints, left, and Alexa Veldhuisen of the Rainy River Owls were locked in fierce combat as was to be expected in the NorWOSSA ‘A’ girls’ soccer final last Wednesday in Sioux Lookout. The Saints emerged victorious by a 1-0 margin, winning the penalty kick shootout 2-0.
