Clay creation

D.J. McKay made a polymer clay creation as Marcy Loveday looked on yesterday at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre. The workshop, where participants made shapes out of clay and then baked and shellacked them, marked the last of Community Living Fort Frances and District’s “Open Air Studio” sessions for the summer. But never fear–the public can expect to see more workshops occasionally this fall and winter. The series proved very popular, drawing an average of 35 participants per session but sometimes as many as 60.
