Volunteer firefighter Mike Sudsbury picked up a tree from in front of a Third Street East home and piled it on a trailer Saturday afternoon during the Fort Frances Fire Brigade’s annual Christmas tree pick-up. Firefighters reportedly had fewer trees to gather this year as more people switch to artificial ones. Meanwhile, those who missed giving a donation for having their tree picked up can bring money to the fire hall, with proceeds going to a local charity.
