Irene Laing, president of the La Verendrye General Hospital Auxiliary, drew the winning tickets for its Christmas cash draw Friday afternoon in the hospital gift shop. Brent DeBenedet won the first-place prize of $1,000, with Donna Wood winning the $500 second-place prize and Sue Fletcher the $300 third-place prize.
