Gillons’ Insurance was among the participants who got 100 percent into the “Christmas Candyland” theme of the annual “Community Christmas Parade” on Saturday evening on Scott Street. The parade included a total of 18 floats (not counting emergency services’ vehicles or Santa’s sleigh). The “Best Theme” award went to The Window & Door Store while the Fort Frances Vipers girls’ volleyball team was the “Most Creative.” Pharmasave’s float had the “Most Holiday Spirit” and Camie Gray won the “Weirdest or Wackiest Hat” contest.
