Cassy Bernard, left, Leah Galusha, John Payne, Jeff Bernard, and James Woods of the Gizhewaadiziwin Health Access Centre showed off “The Gizhac Chili Shack” chili they prepared for the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce’s “Great Canadian Chili Cook-Off” yesterday at the Legion. The team ended up winning the Judges’ Choice award thanks to their tasty concoction that matched the event’s “New Orleans Chili Gras” theme with ingredients like Creole seasoning, shrimp, sausages, and much more.
