Brett Meyers and Nathan Brigham tried their luck near the dam here on the opening day of the ninth-annual Emo Walleye Classic. The fish didn’t seem to be biting too much in the morning, however, with only a few good-sized walleye taking the bait. The weigh-in starts at 3:30 p.m. both today and tomorrow at the Emo-La Vallee Arena.
