Chad Westover of Fort Frances accepted a smokie from Bonnie Allan, a department manager at Wal-mart, during a charity BBQ there on Friday. The company raised $688 for Donald Young School eighth-grade student, Katie Kuitunen, who has been sick for some time although the reason is still unknown. The money will help the family with trips to Winnipeg for testing. —Heather Ogilvie photo
