First year 4-H’er Nick Teeple, 10, proudly showed off his Charolais-Simmental cross named “Buddy,” who took the Grand Champion market steer title at the Rainy River Valley Agricultural Society’s Fall Fair in Emo over the weekend. The steer was purchased by Dan Loney of Cloverleaf Grocery for $2.64 per pound.
