Celebrating International Women’s Day

The Fort Frances Legion was the place to be on Friday, March 7, 2025, as the Rainy River District Women’s Shelter of Hope and Rainy River District Victim Services joined forces with other local organizations to recognize International Women’s Day with education, giveaways and a delicious lunch. The organizers wanted to thank Safeway Fort Frances, who donated flowers for the event, and The Bargain Shop who donated goodies and gifts for those who attended.
