This floating rig, loaded with equipment to fix the pilings on the Noden Causeway, is being used as part of the extensive repair work ongoing there. The in-water work, which is being done by George Armstrong Co. Ltd., consists of repairs to the piles that support the three structures. Right now, they’re working on the high level bridge portion, addressing corrosion below the waterline. On top of the causeway, a different contractor currently is installing new decking on the west low level bridge. This is Year 3 of the five-year project.
