A good cattleman knows just where to stand to get the animal to go where he wants. The new all-steel penning worked very well at the Stratton sales barn on Saturday despite the rain making the alley-ways “rather soupy.” Canvas over the gates kept the animals from getting spooked by activity in front of them as they waited in the line to enter the sales ring.
