The Rainy River Cattlemen’s Association held a Cattle Sale on Saturday at the Stratton Sales Barn. The auction had 960 local animals sold for a total of $1,249,979.71. The next sale is scheduled for September 26. According to Kim Jo Bliss, the price fetched for the cattle is comparable to other auctions in other towns. The September sale is expected to be larger in scale.
