Cassandra Armstrong performed “His Star” with accompanist Trevor Barker during the Rainy River District Festival of the Performing Arts’ “Highlights Concert.” The song is an original composition by Armstrong and Barker. Armstrong was also awarded the Joan Miller Award for Best Stage Presence (Grade 4 and under), and a Highlights Concert Award for vocal.
