Local OPP Cst. Anne McCoy, right, gave Tania Bimm of Sundog Best Start Hub in Atikokan some pointers during a child car seat technician training course at the Northwestern Health Unit office here yesterday. Representatives from district agencies were on hand in order to be able to help increase awareness of proper installation and use of child restraint systems. The course continued there again today, with a session tomorrow to be open to the public. Parents (with or without kids) are encouraged to stop by the Canadian Tire parking lot from 10-11 a.m. to have their seats checked.
