Librarians Andrea Avis and Margaret Sedgwick, youth representatives Anna Schwartz and Annelise Hawrylak, and Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce president Christine Denby were among the group of more than a dozen people cutting the ribbon at the “Building for the Future” campaign kickoff Friday. The campaign to build a new library next to the Memorial Sports Centre got off to a great start, seeing a total of $134,130 in donations come in by the end of the day. —Duane Hicks photo
