Glen Strachan led Jake Kamm early in the first ‘A’ modified heat on Saturday evening at the Emo Speedway. Many racing fans braved the chilly weather to watch the opening races of the year. Both Strachan and Kamm failed to finish the 20-lap feature race later on. —Alex Cruickshank photos
