Amya Hanna-White, left, and Olivia Allen-Arch, Grade 1 students at St. Michael’s School, showed off the school bus safety poster they created last Thursday. The Rainy River District Transportation Services Consortium is hosting a poster contest, with the theme “The Bus is a Bully-Free Zone,” in conjunction with National School Bus Safety Week. All district students are encouraged to participate, with completed posters returned by Oct. 31. Winners will be announced the first week of November.
