Ziigwan Smith, a Grade 1 student at St. Michael’s School, showed off the school bus safety poster he created there yesterday. Since this is National School Bus Safety Week, the Rainy River District Transportation Services Consortium is hosting a poster contest with the theme “The Bus is a Bully-Free Zone.” All students in the district are encouraged to participate, with completed posters returned by Oct. 31. Winners will be announced the first week of November.
