Margaret Schonewille, executive director of the local Alzheimer Society, weighed some pennies turned in during the annual “Penny for Your Thoughts” weigh-in last January at Canadian Tire. The fundraiser will run there again tomorrow (Jan. 23) from 2-9 p.m. and again Saturday, Jan. 24 from 8:30 a.m.-noon. Last year’s weigh-in saw a total of 181 pounds of copper donated, including a 102-pound donation from the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 and 30 pounds from Claude DeBenedet.
