Carla Harris’ Grade 1 class at St. Michael’s School here was the winner of the “Winter Book Challenge” held there through January and February. The goal was for the students to read 2,011 books collectively, but they exceed that amount by reading a total of 2,991. Harris’ class read 448 books, with each student receiving a poster for being the top class.
