Steve and Kent Ballan, the last all-local team to win the Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship way back in 2001, smiled at the crowd along Scott Street late yesterday afternoon during the annual parade of boats. Youngsters lined the route to fill up bags with candy and other treats the anglers tossed their way.
