Ben Hoefler of the Fort Frances Lakers attempted to win a puck battle against Jack Michels of the Thief River Falls Norskies during his squad’s 4-3 loss on Friday night in SIJHL action at the Ice For Kids Arena. Hoefler notched a second-period goal in that one but it wasn’t enough to lift the Lakers to victory.
