Lakers’ forward Jon Sinclair kept an eye on North Stars’ defenceman Kevin Hamel as Fort William tried to charge up the ice in a 4-2 win here Friday night. The Lakers (5-4) held a lead for much of the game, but allowed the tying goal with 6:01 to play, then surrendered two more to fall for just the second time on home ice this season. The Lakers open a five-game road trip tomorrow night in Dryden.
