West End Motors pulled out all of the stops to celebrate “Canada 150” with this birthday cake float in Saturday’s Canada Day parade here. The float earned first place for being the best decorated in the parade, followed closely by Dave Thompson’s pirate ship and the Fort Frances Girls’ and Women’s Hockey Association’s lumberjack float. The parade, which started at the Sorting Gap Marina and ended at the Legion, saw a total of 24 entrants.
