Fort High students Dominique Frenette, and her sister, Linnessa, got a closer look at an aerial map of Fort Frances last Wednesday afternoon during the second-annual Geographical Information System (GIS) Day open house there. The Town of Fort Frances, Ministry of Natural Resources, Fort Frances High School, Abitibi-Consolidated, and Rainy River First Nations all had booths set up for the event, at which the participating groups demonstrated how each of them use GIS technology.
