Emerson Archie, seven, of Couchiching First Nation was the winner of a new bike raffled off during Fire Prevention Week earlier this month. Fire prevention captain Wayne Riches, with the Fort Frances Fire Department, and local Canadian Tire associate dealer Rick Smith, were on hand last Friday to present the new bike. Meanwhile, Jade Belluz, six, of Devlin, and Nancy Leach, five, of Fort Frances each won backpacks, which included a smoke detector and C02 alarm donated by Canadian Tire.
