Matt Swing, 12, was the winner of a new bike raffled off during this year’s Fire Prevention Week last month. Wayne Riches, fire safety specialist with the Fort Frances Fire Department, and local Canadian Tire owner Paul Sunstrum were on hand to present the new bike. Meanwhile, Joey Ohman, nine, and Hayden Beckett, three, won backpacks, which included a fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and C02 alarm donated by Canadian Tire.
