With some help from his dad, Corey, Chase Curtis hoisted up the 4.50-pound bass that his father reeled out of Lake Despair on Saturday during the annual “Castin’ for Cash” bass fishing tournament. The father-and-son team from Emo would finish the two-day event in second place, as Bryan Gustafson of Fort Frances and Kenora’s Jamie Bruce took home first place with a total weight of 30.72 pounds.
