Dale Gill of the Fort Frances Fire Department worked at extinguishing a grass fire near the train tracks off Frenette Avenue that occured shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday. The exact cause of the blaze remains unknown but it’s clear the fire hazard is on the rise now that spring is finally here.
