Cathy Piotrowski cut a roll into cinnamon buns Saturday morning in preparation for the 10th-annual “Soup and Bun” fundraiser held by the St. Mary’s Youth Group over the weekend. All proceeds will go towards the Canadian Catholic organization, Development and Peace, which promotes social justice, human rights, and peace in the global south. Josephine Koroma from Sierra Leone, Africa, who is involved in the “Network Movement for Justice and Development,” also was on hand this weekend to speak about her country and efforts there.
