The Strickland family–Keira, Lindsay and Matthew–were all smiles this past Saturday during the annual Borderland Autism Awareness Walk. Matthew Strickland showed off his strength, proving he has no limitations and helping pass along the message people with autism can have incredible abilities or even “super powers.” The walk began at the Sorting Gap Marina at 1 p.m. and ended at the corner of Crowe Avenue and Front Street. Participants then met at Legion Park for the “Grampa Magic Show,” education discussions and refreshments.
