Keighan Gerrie (Thunder Bay Norwest Stars) avoided pressure from a Baudette Bears’ forward as he moved the puck during the final of the local Atom ‘AA’ tournament Sunday afternoon at the Ice For Kids Arena. Gerrie netted a hat trick as the Stars captured the title with a 5-1 victory. The Fort Frances Canadians finished in fifth place after being blanked 3-0 by the Dryden Paper Kings in their playoff-round game yesterday morning.
