Gladys Martin added a wallop of strawberries and sauce to shortcake and ice cream as she and fellow La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary members Jane McLeod (left) and Chris Lowe worked as an assembly line for yesterday afternoon’s annual “Strawberry Social” here. It was a perfect sunny day for the event—held under a big tent outside the hospital—with many coming out for the delicious treat.
