Savannah Hyatt drew a fish yesterday afternoon at the Fort Frances Museum during March Break activities there. With direction from local artist Valerie Larson, the youngsters were asked to draw and paint their answers to the question, “What Hooks You Here?” Their input will be used to create a rug-hooking project of the same name under the Community Arts and Heritage Education Program (CAHEP). An introduction to the art of rug-hooking is planned for next Thursday (March 25) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Fort Frances Museum.
