Fort High student Tyler Gage signed his name to a pledge to help end violence against women yesterday afternoon as the “I am a Kind Man”/Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin campaign visited there. The provincial program, run locally through the United Native Friendship Centre, has been collecting the signatures of local men on the posters, which then were displayed at last night’s ceremony at the Knox United Church here to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
