Angel tree

'angel' tree

Duane Hicks

Mary Fehr checked out one of the “angel” tags on Kenora & Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services’ “Adopt-an-Angel” tree at The Bargain Shop here. For an 11th year, district residents are asked to purchase gifts for local children who may not receive many presents this holiday season. Angel trees also are located at Walmart and at Tompkins’ Hardware in Emo. “Adopt-an-Angel” will run until Dec. 20.
