Marj Katerick was one of the dozen Borderland Bicycle Club members who particpated in the inaugural “Road River Ramble” on Sunday afternoon. Leaving from the parking lot near the water tower on McIrvine Road, the group made their way either 25 km or 50 km (for the die-hards) along Highway 602 and back. There also were snacks, drinks and prizes. The club meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Skates & Blades. For more info, call Chris McKinnon at 274-6180.
