Mary O’Connor, client services co-ordinator with the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River Districts, gave a presentation yesterday at the Fort Frances Public Library in conjunction with Alzheimer Awareness Month. With women representing 72 percent of Canadians living with Alzheimer’s, the Alzheimer Society is informing women in their 40s and older about the warning signs of the disease, brain health, and how the Alzheimer Society can help.
