Paiten Kinnear of the Emo Express got a step on Kianna Antonick of the Fort Frances Calder Legal Eagles during the third period of the bronze-medal game of the Emo-Devlin-Barwick Minor Hockey Association’s Novice girls’ division of a tournament at the Emo-La Vallee Arena yesterday. Antonick’s team had the last laugh, though, picking up an 11-5 win. In an all-Fort Frances final in the Atom division, Tim Hortons edged the Lions 2-1 to capture their fourth tournament of the season.
