Jayden Bombay took a big bite of delicious dessert during the La Verendrye Hospital Auxiiliary’s tea Saturday afternoon at the New Beginings Fellowship Church here. The auxiliary also presented the Riverside Foundation for Health Care with a cheque for $29,000 that day. The auxiliary has pledged $500,000 to the “Care Close to Home” campaign, and so far has fulfilled more than $405,000 of that commitment.
