Brenda Witherspoon-Bedard, left, and Debra Bruyere of Kenora & Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services put “angels” on the “Adopt-an-Angel” tree erected Tuesday at The Bargain Shop here. For a 10th year, district residents are asked to purchase gifts for local children who may not receive many presents this holiday season. Angel trees also are located at Walmart and Tompkins’ Hardware in Emo. “Adopt-an-Angel” will run until Dec. 17.
