Rebecca Upjohn, author of children’s books such as “The Last Loon,” was on hand at the grand re-opening of the Sturgeon Creek School library yesterday. Not only did she cut the official scarf-ribbon inspired by her book, she also added her handprint to the fish canvas that will hang in the library to commemorate the special occasion. Upjohn is speaking with students at Donald Young School today and then at the Sturgeon Creek Alternative Program tomorrow.
