Pat Loshaw (far left), Kerry Hyatt, and Clayton Teeple were among a dozen volunteers who were busy Monday evening dismantling buildings and clearing away debris in preparation for construction of the proposed abattoir in Emo later this summer. Donated time and equipment counts towards in-kind contibutions to the local component which is required by funding agencies. Another work bee will take place in a couple of weeks “before everyone gets too busy haying.”
