Trish Neilson, vice-president of the Rainy River District Regional Abattoir Inc., addressed a large crowd during a public open house at the Emo Legion on Monday evening. The purpose of the meeting was for the board, along with the Township of Emo, to present their plans for the constuction of a local abattoir within the village, as well as to address questions and concerns from the public.
