Ray Smith of Northwest Bay let loose a horseshoe toss during the annual Labour Day Mixed Horseshoe Tournament at the Pither’s Point Park Pits yesterday. Smith and Bruce Black teamed up to earn a first-place win, while Darwin Johnson (International Falls) and Len Noonan (Fort Frances) finished in second. International Falls’ Sandy Larson and Fort Frances’ Gord “Chips” Calder ended up in third. Twelve participants in total competed in the tournament.
