Carrie Kellar held up a basketball-sized fungus that grew next to her house on Fifth Street East. In six years living there, Kellar said she had not seen any fungus grow on the property, let alone one of such size. “I thought it was one of the kids’ playing balls,” she admitted. Kellar threw it out after consulting the MNR.
