The Fort Frances Jaycees became the champions of the Thunder Bay Amateur Hockey Association and of Manitoba during an impressive run back in 1953-54. The squad will be one of two teams inducted into the Fort Frances Sports Hall of Fame this Saturday. Members of the team pictured include Gord McTaggart (manager), Bill Lloyd (coach), Julian Brunetta, Gary McFayden, Fred Beck, Jerald Shperuk, Bill Abbott, Art Rousseau, Don McMillan, Tony Munch, Joe Armbruster, Ron Silver, Bob Peters, Dick Gustafson, Ross Pearson, Gerald Melnychuk, and Ron King. Missing from the photo is Don Zeleny.
