Yesterday was Orange Shirt Day, a day on Sept. 30 to recognize and honour all Metis, Inuit and First Nation children who were taken away from their parents to go to residential schools. In Fort Frances, Binesiwag Centre for Wellness and the Weechi’ttewin Family Services, made sure to spread the word and raise awareness by dressing in orange, giving out some information brochures and well….some treats.
