TORONTO – Celine Dion says after being “locked up” during the COVID-19 pandemic this songbird is ready to fly.
The Quebecois vocal powerhouse says she spent a large part of the past year and a half with her kids having “old- fashioned family fun” playing soccer and swimming in the backyard.
But Dion says she’s eager to return to the Las Vegas stage for a whirlwind run of 10 dates throughout November.
The singer will perform at the Resorts World Las Vegas theatre starting Nov. 5 as the headliner of a stacked calendar that also includes Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan.
Dion says her 16-year residency in Vegas gave her “many wonderful years to be a mom and a performer” and she looks forward to the opportunity to play for fans and “come home every night” as well.
Tickets go on sale to the public starting May 24.
